This page explains how to request deletion of your Exploits account and the personal data associated with it.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (fastest)

1. Open the Exploits app and sign in. 2. Go to Profile → Delete account. 3. For your security, you may be asked to re-authenticate. 4. Confirm. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@exploitsministries.org from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and process the request, normally within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:

• your user profile and profile photos;
• live streams you hosted and their recordings (including stored audio files);
• your listener sessions, favorites, playlists, downloads, and engagement records;
• your Firebase Authentication login.

What is retained (and for how long)

We retain but anonymise (disassociate from your identity — for example, your name is shown as "Deleted user") the following, because deleting them outright would break records we are required or reasonably need to keep:

• Live-stream chat messages — to preserve the coherence of past stream conversations for other participants; and
• Donation, giving, and recurring-donation records — for legal, accounting, and tax purposes.

We retain financial and giving records for at least seven (7) years, or such other period as required by applicable Ugandan tax and accounting law.
